CELEBRATION OF LIFE SURPRISE PARTY FOR MOM
WAS HELD ON NOVEMBER 26TH, 2010
DINNER AND SHOW
Our Celebration of Life Party for Mom was a great success. We had over 35 people attend.
My mom loved every moment of it. She loved the 1 hour show with the accordion music that we did for her. We got over-whelming comments from everyone about the show. I went to see my mom today and she expressed so much joy about the party. The smile and the happiness that I saw on her face cannot be described by words.
Here are some of the comments that I received by email and at the party.
Joe: I'm so glad that you are so close to me now. I love you with all of my heart. Thank you mom for setting an example for me. Rose: You've been a good mother-in-law to me and I love you very much. David: I love my grandma very much and I don't know what I would do without her. At the party, you could see Nonny's eyes just light up. She was so happy to see how much we love her. Lisa: Thank you for teaching me how to cook. Thank you for loving the Lord and being an example to me. Chad: Nonna, thank you for teaching my wife, Lisa, how to cook. It's because of this that I can support this amazing figure that I've got! Isabella: I love you grandma. Jonathan: I love you very much and for caring for all of us. Giovanni: If it wasn't for my mom, we would not be in the U.S. Thank you for setting an example to us for the Lord. And thank you Joe for putting this show together. Mary Pat: I love you Mom. Jimmy: It's great being part of this family and the kids adore you. It's great when you come over our house. We love you very much. Zach: You've always been there for me. I appreciate you and love you. Stella: You have been my angel all my life since I've been in the family. And I want to tell you how much I love you. Daniella: Nonna is a great Grandma Juliana: I remember my dad didn't want you to ride a 3 wheel bike to the grocery store when you were living with us but you wanted to help. I love your spirit and I love you very much. Anna: We love you very much and we are so proud of you. Richard: I admire your dedication to your family and what a great example you are to your children and your grand-children. Cindy: I love you grandma. You are a very special person. I love your stories and they will live with all of us. Dan: America e fatto per te. (America is made for you) You stand for what's true and you don't compromise. You are a great witness to the Lord and we love you. Sal and Judy: We love you. Uncle Joe, you did an awesome job. Thanks for putting it all together. Leanne and Jonathan : I love you grandma. Dan and Rose: We loved every moment of it. We have been so lucky to have met your families. We consider all of your part of our extended family. You brought a lot of joy to us. Claudia: I would like to call you grandma and I really enjoy when you come over our house. I appreciate your spirit that we all enjoy. We really enjoyed the party and are looking forward to your 100th Birthday Party. Maria G. : I love you grandma. Thank you all for your support and the beautiful words that you all expressed to my mom. I'm planning for her 100 birthday in 3 years and I'm praying that she will be there for that great event.
